Suri Duitch

Suri Duitch is dean of the Tulane University School of Professional Advancement, a school within Tulane that offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in a range of applied fields, largely to working adults, and holds the additional title of vice president of academic innovation. Suri came to Tulane to lead the school in 2016 from the City University of New York, where she oversaw adult education, workforce development, service learning, and initiatives with tech, healthcare and other major New York City industries. She focuses on offering innovative, high quality, and accessible education programs, both in New Orleans and online, to a highly diverse student body. Suri has a B.A. in English from Columbia University, an M.S.W. in community organizing from Hunter College-CUNY, and a Ph.D. in urban education from the CUNY Graduate Center.
