Troy Cogburn

Since joining the Manhattanville College community as the Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing in August 2021, Troy Cogburn has overseen a 47% increase in new student enrollment and has increased the academic student profile from a grade point average of 3.1 to 3.3. He is an accomplished enrollment professional who has worked with undergraduate, graduate, nursing, transfer, military and veteran students, and adult learners. In recognition of his enrollment success, Troy was recognized by the Business Council of Westchester as a 40 under 40 Rising Star in September 2023. A staunch advocate for underserved, underrepresented, and undervalued students, Troy has spent over a decade working with professional development organizations that believe in expanding the access and opportunity for students such as the New York Commission for Independent Colleges and Universities, the National Association for College Admissions Counseling, and the New York State Transfer and Articulation Association for whom he served as President during the 2019-20 year. Troy welcomes the opportunity to think creatively and critically with a team of professionals to attract students from all socio-economic, geographic, ethnic, and gender backgrounds to Manhattanville University with a desire to excel, while continuing to advocate for the non-traditional student populations who represent some of the most vulnerable students in higher education.
